How to connect

Four steps. You need a World of Warcraft 3.3.5a client.

  1. Get a 3.3.5a client

    Wrath of the Lich King, patch 3.3.5a, build 12340. Other builds will not connect. Easiest: the Arena Tournament client, realmlist pre-set.

  2. Set your realmlist

    Open the file realmlist.wtf in your client's Data/enUS folder (use your own locale folder if different) and replace its contents with this single line.

    set realmlist arenatournament.net

    Or grab the ready-made file: realmlist.wtf. The Arena Tournament client already has it set.

  3. Create an account

    Account creation will open with the realm. TODO Registration link not set up yet.

  4. Log in and queue

    Start the client, log in, pick the Arena Tournament realm and create a character. Then find your team on the ladder.

Trouble connecting?

Make sure the realmlist is a single line, that you are on build 12340, and clear the client's Cache folder after editing it.
